Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate our participants as best as possible. As a volunteer-run not-for-profit organization, we dedicate significant time and resources to planning our events. To help us manage these resources effectively and ensure that everyone has a fair chance to participate, we kindly ask that you inform us of any cancellations or changes to your event attendance as early as possible. By doing so, we can offer the spot to others on the waitlist. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Cancellation by Participant:

7+ Days Before the Event: If you cancel 7 or more days before the event start date, you will receive a full refund.

Less than 7 Days Before the Event: Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.

Cancellations by Groups:

Groups are classified as organizations (school groups and companies) or third parties that are organizing events with our facilitation and services.

21+ Days Before the Event: For group bookings, cancellations must be made at least 21 days prior to the event start date. If a cancellation is made within this timeframe, a refund will be provided; however, 15% of the agreed invoice amount will be retained as a security deposit. 

Less than 21 Days Before the Event: Cancellations made less than 21 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund. 

No Show Policy:

Participants who do not show up on the day of the event without prior notice will not be eligible for any refund or credit.

Event Cancellation by Soul of Miistaki

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, safety concerns, or insufficient enrollment). In such cases, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or credit towards a future event.

Exceptions:

We recognize that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel due to a medical or family emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. We may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund or credit towards a future event.

How to make a cancellation:

To cancel your participation, please email us at info@soulofmiistaki.com and cc your event facilitator(s). If a phone number has been provided, we also recommend texting the facilitator for a more timely response.
